Become a Beta Reader

A Beta Reader is someone who reads a book before it’s published and provides feedback from the perspective of an everyday reader. You don’t need to be an editor or writing expert. I’m not looking for someone to mark up every sentence—I want to understand your experience as a reader.

As you read, think about questions like these:

* Did the story keep your interest?
* Were there places where you felt confused or wanted more information?
* Did the characters feel authentic and believable?
* Was the pacing too fast, too slow, or just right?
* What moments stayed with you after you finished reading?
* What worked especially well, and what could be improved?

I’ll provide a few guiding questions, but there’s no need to write a formal review. Honest, thoughtful feedback and suggestions—whether positive or critical—is one of the greatest gifts you can give me as I prepare the story for publication.

A Beta Reader is not an editor or a writing expert.
If you love reading this kind of story and you have opinions that could make things work better, you are QUALIFIED to be a Beta Reader! I the author love honest feedback whether positive or negative, and I’m very interested in working with you to make this story the best it can be.
